The main attraction at Gran Gakugei Daigaku is the fantastic bath, with jet and bubble bath functions. It is almost like staying at a nice hotel. The entrance is opened with card keys for good security. The whole bath and shower area is outfitted with a natural wooden taste.

The first thing you will see in Gran Gakugei Daigaku after entering the house and taking off your shoes will be the relaxing library. Feel the warmth of the wooden shelves, desks, and chairs, as well as the sofa. It's a perfect place to read, work, or study.
There is an air conditioner in this room so you can enjoy it all year round. You won't find many libraries in other houses!

One of the other rooms you will find upon entering is the theater room. The walls are black and there is a sofa in the middle of the room. Face the front to see the giant screen! With 3 stovetops and 3 sinks, there is plenty of space to cook anything you like. The kitchen is wide open with plenty of counter space so you can cook and talk together. It is also stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, and appliances. It's almost like having a restaurant kitchen!

Further back is a large sofa and big TV.
It's the perfect place to kick back and relax, or watch the big game. There are many people living here from all over the world, so it's the perfect place for social exchange.

A simple and relaxing private space
The first thing you see when you open the door to a private room might be the wood flooring. Except for 4 rooms that have loft beds, all the other 36 rooms have semi-double beds for extra sleeping comfort. There are 2 basic room types: If you'd like to have a lot of floor space, there is the desk and chair type room, or if you want to have a more relaxing mood, there is the sofa and low table combination. Which one do you think you will choose?

It might be a little far from the station, but there is bicycle parking and car sharing spot nearby as well. Again, please come see for yourself what makes Gran Gakugei Daigaku so great!

FAQ

Below are some questions we receive from customers.

Q. What's the closest station?
You can get to Gakugei-daigaku and Toritsu-daigaku on the Tokyu Toyoku line, as well as Nishi-Koyama station on the Tokyu Meguro line. It's a bit far from the station, so if you are commuting to a nearby school we recommend having a bicycle. Nishi-Koyama station is about a 15 to 20 minute walk. There are bus stations near the house that will get you to Shibuya or Meguro.

Q. Is there a supermarket close by?

There is a supermarket called "Mai Basuketto" a 7-minute walk from the house.
