Kami-Ooka station is on the Keikyu line, famous for its red trains. Gran Yokohama Kami-Ooka is the 2nd Gran series in the Yokohama area, and opened January 2020.

If you take the express train from Kami-Ooka station on the Keikyu main line you can get to Yokohama station in 15 minutes. You can also use the Yokohama subway Blue line, as well as several bus options. There are lots of hills in this area so traveling by bus is very convenient.

There are also lots of shopping options. First, the station building has many shops and you will probably be able to get almost everything you need day to day. There are also 3 supermarkets near the station. Plus there are lots of good places to eat and drink, and ramen shops, so it's a good place to explore if you're a foodie.

From Kami-Ooka station, taking the Keikyu main line express will get you to Yokohama station in 15 minutes, or to Shinagawa in 30. Thanks to this convenience, Kami-Ooka is a thriving bedroom town.

The station building has a Keikyu department store, restaurants, and cafes. We especially recommend the Takano Fruit Parlor on the 1st floor!

There is also a big shopping center across from the station, called Camio. It mostly has restaurants, fast food, izakaya, and more.

There are 20 restaurants in total, and 6 other stores to shop at, plus an optometrist and dermatologist.

Akafoo Park is a shopping center that has been in Kami-Ooka for 45 years. It was remodeled in 2017, and is a landmark of the area.

There is a sports center, amusement area, restaurants, fashion stores, and other shopping. Here you can go bowling or to the batting cages!

There is a cafe bookstore on the 1st floor called MiCKE book & marche. There's a bakery and other goods to buy.

Other supermarkets include Ito Yokato and OK Kami-Ooka.

There is a shopping arcade with 23 shops called Passage Kami-Ooka, convenient for when you're coming home.

The private rooms at Gran Yokohama Kami-Ooka may not have individual bathrooms in every room, but there is a sink and vanity. Many rooms also get great sunlight, especially since the building is on a relatively high elevation.

Similar to other Gran series houses, there's a gym, library, and theater room. There are also 2 system kitchens, so cooking and relaxation time is convenient!

It is a bit of a walk from the station, but Gran Yokohama Kami-Ooka has so much to offer.

The entrance has an autolock system. There are also post boxes and parcel delivery boxes.

There is also a laundry space and smoking space.

The rooms are 10.59 square meters, and have a large wardrobe and vanity sink.
There are also rooms with hanger type storage spaces.

There are two special rooms, 208 and 306, that have their own unit bath.

The rooms get great sunlight. There is a desk and chair which is good for work from home or studying. You also have a refrigerator.

Rooms 207 and 305 have a balcony, but other rooms dry clothes in the room.
However, there is a drying machine in the laundry room which is good on rainy days.

Gran Yokohama Kami-Ooka is a smaller house for 14 with great shared facilities, perfect for a first-time share house experience. It may be a bit of a walk from the station, but the town itself is convenient.

The sakura trees along the Ooka river are particularly lovely, with 500 trees over 3 kilometers. There is a great festival during flower season!
