Social Residence oojima has opened in March 2020. The closest subway station from Social Residence oojima is Higasi-oojima station of Toei Shinjuku line. You can directly reach the city center by Toei Shinjuku line (to Shinjuku station in 30mins and to Ichigaya station in 21 mins). Through service of this line connecting to Keio line without transfer from Shinjuku to Chiba enables easy access from east-end to west-end of Tokyo. Built on a bridge, the station boasts a unique landscape. In addition, the scenic view of running trains on the river, formerly known as Nakagawa, has been chosen as "Top 100 travel Story of station".

Near Higashi-oojima station, "Komatsugawa Park" is famous for cherry blossom festival in Spring. The street called "Senbon-Sakura", literally meaning that one thousand cherry trees, becomes full of visitors who enjoy the cherry blossom. In addition, there is a sports park where accommodates baseball and tennis courts, and spacious parks. It is perfect spot to take a promenade or jogging on holidays.

You can reach the residence in 8 minutes on foot from station. There is one big supermarket and three convenient stores near the station. 1) Lounge / Dining

The lounge dining of Social Residence oojima has a wide window making residents feel more spacious. After the renovation of the ceiling higher, it provides even more spacious feeling than before. There are lots of seats in the dining area with tables, kitchen with a bar table, and comfy sofas next to the window. Please enjoy your meal in the spacious dining room.

Social lounge dining has a large window which lets in pleasant natural light. You will love to get the morning sunlight while drinking coffee at the sofa near the window.

There are three different sized tables. The biggest one can be used for the stand-up party. if you need to extend space near sofa seats, you can simply add the medium-sized one as an extra table. Finally, the smallest one can be used a low table with small chairs.

Not only TV but also a projector and screen are prepared. You can enjoy playing games or watching sports lives in a variety of ways.

2) Garage, Gym, Study room
Recently, it becomes more common for share house offering better convenient facilities in their properties. This social residence oojima also pays attention a lot on such facilities. We will introduce some share facilities only provided at this property.

Among those facilities of Social residence oojima, the rarest one is bicycle and motorcycle only parking lot. Your bicycles will be protected from rain or wind. And you can also repair your bicycle indoor. The parking lot is locked, so that outsider cannot get in. It is great facility for motorcycle or bicycle lovers. It costs 2000 yen per bicycle or motorcycle regardless of size.

Gym as the standard facility of share house. We prepared treadmills and many other fitness items. If you want to buy training machines at your own house, it is not only costly but also giving pressure on storage space. The mirror wall enables you to check your body form or to use it for yoga or dance.

Recently, many people are working as freelancers. Data shows that 1/6 of workers are freelancers. Also, more and more freelancers are living in Oakhouse. These freelancers have high demand on working space other than their own rooms, and many of them utilize the study room for working. 3) Room introduction
All of the rooms in social residence oojima are single type rooms. Rooms are facing either east or west where the next building is in distance, so you can enjoy natural light in your rooms. The most popular room is 15m2 type room. You can choose a room either to enjoy morning sunlight or afternoon relaxed sunshine.

2~5F are room floors. Buildings around our sharehouse are not tall, thus pleasant sunlight will come to each room. Every room gets the ample natural light.

Share house of Oka house is fully furnished in the beginning. Rooms of Social residence oojima have one bed, desk, chair, refrigerator, air conditioner, and curtain. With closet rod and hanging closet organizer, there is enough space to store your luggage. It is even enough to put belongings which are barely used.

There is no veranda in the room. So, you must dry your laundry inside the room. We prepare a clothesline for the purpose. If you have a lot laundry, we recommend you use the laundry dryer. Our gas dryer finishes drying faster. There are 3 dryers each on 1F and 5F. (20 mins / 100 Yen)

A room of 11.5m2 with a loft bed. You will love to climb up the loft bed. Except for the bed type, all the other facilities are the same as other single rooms. Apart from closet rod and hanging closet organizer, the space under the bed can be used at your discretion for the better utility.

This type of room is recommended for those who want to spend more time with share house mates rather than to relax at room. This layout is rare, please do not miss the opportunity to have a look whenever available.

4) Wet area

There are 6 laundry machines and 3 dryers on the 1st floor. 3 laundries machines each floor from the 2nd to the 4th. On the 5th floor, there are 3 laundry machines and 3 dryers. Even though all the laundry is expected to be dried inside your room in principle, you can use our gas dryers whenever necessary.

There are 3 restrooms on each floor. Female only rooms are available. (Female only restroom on the 2nd floor.)

All the shower booths are installed on the 1st floor. There are 6 booths for both men and women, and 3 booths only for women. Also, there are bathtubs for each.

"Social residence oojima is a large-scale property built in 2020. It has an easy access to the city center (30 mins to Shinjuku), and only 8 mins walking distance from the station.

Since we have private room with pleasant natural light, and spacious kitchen, dining space, gym and study room as shared facilities, privacy is guaranteed in our share house.
